Frequently asked questions

How can you help my child catch up if they're falling behind in class?

We begin by identifying exactly where the gaps are, using your child's recent schoolwork and assessments. From there, we rebuild understanding step by step, so your child can catch up and keep pace with their class.

How do you help a child who has lost confidence in their learning?

Confidence grows from success. We give students clear explanations, achievable steps and genuine encouragement, so they experience progress and begin to believe in their ability again.

My child struggles with maths. How will you help?

We find the specific concepts causing difficulty and teach them patiently until they make sense. With regular practice and clear feedback, students build the skills and confidence to tackle new problems on their own.

How do you support children who find reading or writing difficult?

We work on the foundations of reading fluency, comprehension, spelling and grammar, and teach students how to plan and structure their writing. Every lesson is matched to your child's level and the expectations of their school year.

How do you prepare students for the HSC?

We combine thorough teaching of each course with past HSC papers, exam technique and support for school assessment tasks. Students learn what examiners are looking for and how to present their best work under exam conditions.

How will I know whether my child is making progress?

We keep families informed about what has been covered, how your child is progressing and where further support is needed. You are always welcome to speak with us about your child's learning.

Do your lessons follow the NSW curriculum?

Yes. All our teaching follows the current NESA syllabus for your child's year and course, so what they learn with us connects directly to their work at school.

Who will be teaching my child?

Our lessons are taught by qualified teachers and experienced tutors, led by Head Teacher Patrick Phung. We match each student with a teacher suited to their subject and year level.

How can we get started?

We warmly invite you to book a complimentary first lesson. Simply bring along a recent assessment or piece of schoolwork, and we will tailor the session to your child's needs.

What are your fees?

We'll confirm fees and class times when you get in touch.
