Year 9 moves into fuller essays, imaginative pieces and persuasive writing. A lesson will often rewrite one passage so the argument arrives earlier.
How the lesson runs
- Students write in the lesson and get feedback on that writing.
- HSC students should bring the prescribed text and the school’s question.
- Class times, fees and whether this course is running this term are confirmed by phone. They are not listed on this page yet.
Junior English and the HSC courses (typically Standard, Advanced and Extension) follow NESA. The outline is a default. Confirm the course your child is actually in.
